What's at The Woodinville Farmers Market This Week? Sept. 10

Pizza and honey! But not honey on pizza, cause that would be weird. Val's Surroundings is having a local honey harvest tasting event at the Saturday market and Rustic Pie Co. will be back.

Val Schick of will be super-sizing her display this week with educational and source material on beekeeping.

Val will have information on where and when there are workshops for people interested in keeping bees. As part of the event, Val will have local honey on hand to taste.

“We will have many varieties of monofloral raw honey for tasting and sale as well as beeswax candles, locally made beeswax cosmetic products, local made honey chocolate truffles, and more than twenty flavors of honey sticks and honey candies,” Val wrote on Patch’s Facebook page.
