While Woodinville wineries may be accustomed to media attention, the Seattle Metropolitan magazine is giving props to the burgeoning beer industry in town.
It gives a nod to Redhook as long being the brewery in what's been known as a place for wine aficionados.
And then the article touts a quartet of breweries that have sprouted up more recently, attracting locals and regional beer drinkers to the Woodinville area as well.
The breweries include:
- Brickyard Brewing, which is lauded for its "toasty-sweet Masonry Oatmeal Stout,"
- Dirty Bucket Brewing Co., with "The Filthy Hoppin’ IPA, a love letter to hopheads, though balanced enough for the rest of us to appreciate, too,"
- Triplehorn Brewing Co., mentioned in part for "the yet-unnamed seasonal porter, aged in used syrah barrels," and;
- Twelve Bar Brews, of which the story says, "The Turnaround Red – brightly hoppy without getting all up in your face about it."
