The nonprofit thespian group plans to produce two more shows this year: Almost Maine, a comedy by John Cariani; and The Best Laid Plans, a thriller by Canadian playwright Fred Carmichael. Charley Blaine, business coordinator for the group, said recently it is actively seeking donations to cover the costs of last year’s move from the to Denali Stone Slab Studio facility in the Sammamish Valley.

“We have also had to invest in new equipment for lights and seats, depleting much of our capital, and we have a special need to raise $4,000 to get Southern Hospitality up and running and able to produce our next show Almost Maine, scheduled for June,” Blaine said. “We believe we can support ourselves with ticket revenue and an annual fund-raiser in the fall.  We have raised $1,200 so far.”
