is having its grand opening celebration Wednesday with a buy one frozen yogurt get one free. The business, opened since March, sells the signature frozen yogurt, Mrs. Field’s Cookies and Java Detour. The new shop at 13804 NE 175th St. is the first time the management company, Green Bowl Time, Inc. has opened a locations with all three brand names.
“We took an exhaustive look at the quick-service segment and specifically the highly competitive frozen yogurt category and agreed that TCBY had the most business potential,” said Young Kim, CEO of Green Bowl Time. “We are excited to open this concept, not only because TCBY provides a great overall product, but also because Woodinville is a great community and TCBY is a perfect fit.”
In addition to offering all three brands, the new store debuted an updated look for TCBY. The shop is designed to be a social lounge with bright colors and modern design. There are five soft-serve machines where customers help themselves to nay of the 10 your flavors. There is an extensive toppings bar with cold and dry stations to finalize their creation. Self-serve pricing is done by weight at $0.39 per ounce.
The Woodinville Chamber of Commerce is welcoming the store to the community with an official ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m., which includes an appearance by Mayor Chuck Price.
