Woodinville's Cascade Health And Fitness Unveils the Chairmaster™

Cascade Health and Fitness has introduced the ChairMaster, an innovative fitness chair that combines low impact cycling with resistance training to provide a total body workout.

WOODINVILLE, Wash. – Jan. 7, 2013 – Cascade Health and Fitness, a dedicated team with more than 25 years of experience creating fitness products that are affordable and easy to use, today introduced the ChairMaster, an innovative fitness chair that combines low impact cycling with resistance training to provide a total body workout. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels, the ChairMaster provides a ‘sit and get fit’ approach to exercise that helps users increase strength and flexibility while improving cardiovascular conditioning and balance.

“Most of us, no matter what
our age, spend the better part of our day sitting, which studies show can
significantly impact our overall health,” said John Post, president of Cascade
Health and Fitness and former Stairmaster executive. “The ChairMaster helps
solve that problem creating an opportunity for people to transform their daily
sit time routine of watching television or checking email into fit time. The
ChairMaster is an attractive chair that complements any living room while
providing 50 exercises to choose from to increase aerobic fitness, strength and
flexibility.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, researchers have linked sitting for long periods of time with a number of health issues, including obesity and metabolic syndrome – a cluster of conditions that includes increased blood pressure, high blood sugar, excess body fat around the waist and abnormal cholesterol levels. Too much sitting also seems to increase the risk of death from cardiovascular disease and
cancer. Using the ChairMaster is one way to add movement and muscle activity
into a daily routine to combat the negative impact of sedentary behavior.

In addition to home use, the ChairMaster is an ideal fitness solution for active aging communities and is less intimidating to use than treadmills, elliptical machines and other pieces of exercise equipment.

“Our residents cycle to help
with endurance and energy levels and use the resistance bands to increase their
core strength,” said Candace Peters, certified personal trainer at GenCare
Lifestyle, a senior and assisted living facility located in the Seattle-area.
“The ChairMaster helps our residents improve their quality of life from the
comfort of a chair.”

Available in brown or black, the ChairMaster can be purchased directly at www.chairmaster.com for $1,195.00 and includes a 30-day money back guarantee.

I have been extremely frustrated in the past in trying to effectively communicate with Frontier. MyRead More developing sense was one of very poor live support. I find it refreshing to see Frontier respond in a timely manner to this very public assertion. One can hope this is also occurring in your phone support, especially after hours...

I have spoken to Mr. Gaulke and assured him we are not cutting speeds in the Woodinville market (orRead More any of our markets). We are working with him to approach his technical issues from scratch and will do all we can to alleviate his concerns about his speeds. His business, and all the business from our customers in the Woodinville market is very valuable to us. While we are disappointed to receive feedback his service is not living up to our standards, we are grateful for the opportunity to work with Mr. Gaulke and keep his valuable business. We welcome inquiries from other customers if there is anything we can do to improve. Please reach out to me at 425.275.8579 and let us know how we can help. Frontier has spent the past three years expanding broadband to hundreds of thousands of homes acrossRead More the US and increasing speeds in many of our markets. Mr. Gaulke’s experience and recount of his conversation with one of our reps comes as a surprise to us. We are checking our records to find out what the possible miscommunication could have been. In the meantime, let us be clear: We are not decreasing speeds in Woodinvile, or any of our markets for that matter. We will be reaching out to Mr. Gaulke to see if we can alleviate any lingering concerns. Christy Reap Frontier Communications
