Unique Veggie Start CSA: Grow more food for you and your family this year!

Learn about Cascadia Edible Landscapes' unique Community Supported Veggie Start Program and start taking some of the guesswork out of gardening!

Whether you are a new or seasoned vegetable gardener, deciding on what to plant when can require agood deal of research and guesswork, especially here in the cascade region, where our weather can be rather temperamental. Nurseries and farmers market vendors often complicate things by selling cold or heat sensitive plant varieties before temperatures in your home garden are right for them. This can lead to a lot of frustration when veggies fail to thrive or produce fruit.

Cascadia Edible Landscapes, a Seattle not-just-for-profit landscaping company, offers an intriguing solution to this gardener’s dilemma, with our unique Community Supported Plant Start program (CSPS).Built on a traditional CSA model, CSPS offers members flats of seasonally and regionally appropriate veggie, herb, and edible flower seedlings four times a year, and since we carefully time our distributions, your plants are ready to go into the ground as soon as you pick them up. No guessing, no research required.

Our plant starts are grown right here in Seattle and we deliver them to neighborhood pick-up locations throughout the area. You can choose everything that you prefer in your flats from our extensive list of plant varieties, and as with a traditional CSA, we will do our best to deliver! The earlier you sign up, the better chance you have of receiving the cream of the crop.
