Be Our Expert!

We need business owners, teachers, medical professionals, mechanics, politicians and residents we can call to interview for stories.

It’s a new year and Woodinville Patch is making a list of people we can call when we need to interview and expert for a story. Is that you?

We need experts, people we can occasionally call to interview as sources for stories. Now, we can always find national experts, or even professionals in Seattle to talk to, but we prefer to interview business people, professionals and residents in our own community.

For instance, at Halloween we wanted to interview a dentist about which Trick-or-treat candy to avoid for good dental health. In our back to school series we needed to talk with a podiatrist about how to choose the best shoe for your child’s feet. Or a local plumber to interview about weatherizing pipes for winter.

And often we want to talk to everyday folk about life here in Woodinville. Nearly all our interviews are short, usually no more than 10-15 minutes by phone and many can be done via email. If you’re a business owner, it’s also a good way to get a bit of attention for your business.
