  • Why Go: If free live music is what you're after this weekend, you won't need to travel too far to see it. The Crying Spell will be performing at the Yuppie Pawn in Totem Lake this Friday. This is a great opportunity to see a big name band in a very intimate venue. Never heard of them? Check out this Crying Spell music video to get an idea of what you're in for.

  • Why Go: If you've ever thought about learning to play a Didgeridoo, Soulfood Books should be on your radar this Saturday. They're offering a 2 hour workshop on this unique Australian instrument. You'll learn techniques, practice techniques, and composition. Basically, everything you'll need to get started. Don't have a Didgeridoo? No worries, there will be plenty on hand to borrow during the class. Not exactly sure what a Didgeridoo even is? Here's a little sample of what this instrument is capable of.
  • Pricing: $20 for class alone, $45 for class and purchase of Didgitube (practice didge) that you can take home and practice with! (save $15).

  • Why Go: If you haven't been able catch this latest production from SecondStory you're in luck. The "adults only" show is this Saturday night. Be prepared for a night full of laughs and uncensored entertainment, as anything can happen at the "adults only" show (and usually does).

  • Why Go: We all love the idea of Sustainable living, but does anyone really know all that much about it? Well, here's your chance to learn from an expert. Terry Phelan of Living Shelter Design will be leading a class on Sustainable Home Solutions at 21 Acres this Saturday. The class will address everything form rainwater collection to practical renewable energy sources and much more.

  • Why Go: The Bellevue 10k run is back and just in time to help you get in that swim suit shape you need for Summer. If the 10K seems too extreme, try the 5k run/walk. There's also a half mile Kids' Dash available for kids 10 years old and younger. Not too stoked about getting your run on this Sunday? This 2011 Bellevue 10K promo might help you get motivated.
