• Why Go: Tired of the same old dinner and a movie? Try putting a new spin on your "date night" by visiting new luxurious iPic Theater. The new theater offers reclining chairs, pillows and blankets, and in-cinema food and beverage service for the first 20 minutes of each show. In addition to the fashion show, the event will also feature live music from Fusion, a jazz band led by Max Levin and raffle prizes that include an original art package from modern surrealist Mariam Hovhannisyan.

• Why Go: The Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra and the Seattle Art Museum have joined forces to treat audiences with a selection of paintings by Jacob Lawrence, and his unique views of the Harlem Renaissance period interspersed with the SRJO performing classic jazz pieces from the same period by jazz composers Fletcher Henderson, Jimmie Lunceford, Duke Ellington and others.
