Got Grads? Give Them a Shout on Patch

You can easily post a FREE personalized announcement of your child's biggest accomplishments--like making it through those K-12 years.

Graduation time is here, and if you're anything like I was when my daughter graduated two years ago, you want everyone to know how awed and thrilled you are that your "baby" is graduating.

Woodinville Patch is a great place to let the world know how proud you are, and how much your child has accomplished. Why not post a personalized graduation announcement to mark the occasion?

If you're a digitally creative type, you could even make a then and now photo collage of your child to make it colorful, and write about what they plan to do next in the announcement. Post the announcement before or after the ceremony; it's up to you.

It's free with your Patch account, and a cool way to notify all of those relatives and friends who live too far away to make it out to the ceremony. Once you've posted your announcement, you're just a click away from sharing it on Facebook or twitter, or add a link to an ecard to send a virtual announcement.

And the announcements section is available for all kinds of other news, as well, including sports awards, school awards, and honor roll--all free to post.

Follow this video tutorial to see how to post your own announcement, step by step. After you finish watching the video, consider using the techniques in the video to post on the Patch.

Congratulations to all of our local students who are about to walk the big walk. We hope to see their smiling faces on Patch.
