WHS Announces Dramafest Lineup

The event is a chance to see student-directed one act plays performed by Woodinville High Schools drama students.

 

’s drama department has just announced the lineup for . The festival features seven one-act plays directed by WHS Advanced Drama students.   

The event is a chance to see student-directed one act plays performed by Woodinville High Schools drama students. Dramafest is not only a chance for the actors to showcase their talents, but an opportunity for would-be directors and casting agents to experience what it’s like to put on a production, according to Meghan McDonell, the student publicity head for the school’s theater company.

Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2:30 pm:
Adaption By Elaine May, Directed by Sarah Hubert
Check, Please By Jonathan Rand, Directed by Chelsea Berman
Act III, Scene v By Terry Ortwine, Directed by Parker Kennedy

Thursday, Dec. 15, 2:30 pm:
The Root of Chaos By Douglas Soderberg, Directed by Meghan McDonell
Brush Yourself Off and Move On By Meg Boduch, Directed by Avery Berkey

Friday, Dec. 16, 2:30 pm:
Mandy Dear By Hilary Ingbar, Directed by Ericka Lanier
Betrayal By Bob Tucker, Directed by Pam Fletcher

Friday, Dec. 16, 7:00 pm:
Best of Fest! Encore performances of the top three plays (as judged by a panel of professional theatre adjudicators) plus the much anticipated announcement of the Spring Musical.

All performances will take place in the Northshore Performing Arts Center

Ticket prices for Wednesday — Friday afternoon and Best of Fest:
$3 for students/seniors; $4 general admission

$12 students/seniors; $15 general admission
