Sammamish River Bridge and Broadcasting Live: Woodinville City Council Meets Tuesday

The Woodinville City Council has a fairly full agenda for their 7 p.m. June 11 meeting.

There's a public hearing on the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for 2014-2019. The TIP includes 34 separate projects/project types representing $224,465,000 in improvements, according to city documents.

The council will also discuss Comprehensive Plan goals and priorities, the 2012 Report on Parks and Recreation Operation, and broadcasting council meetings live on the Web and on television.

They will also talk about options for the Sammamish River Bridge, which is included in the 2013-2014 Biennial Budget, but as currently designed, relies upon acquiring an approximate 2,000 square feet easement from the Port of Seattle. To date, efforts to acquire the easement from the Port of Seattle have not been successful at an acceptable price, city documents say.
