CALL FOR ARTISTS AND MUSICIANS!
DUVALL, Wash. –The
annual SandBlast Festival
of the Arts will be held at McCormick Park on the shore of the historic and
beautiful Snoqualmie River in Duvall. The
dates for this years Festival are Saturday and Sunday, July 19th and July 20th. The festival features a professional and
community sand sculpture event and includes live music, dance and performance,
story telling and a fine art and craft fair. In 2014 we celebrate River, Sand & Soul. Artisans
are to demonstrate, display and sell their work within the art fair located on
a grassy knoll overlooking the river and sand sculpture area. Within this same area, our SandBlast music
stage is a focal point within the artist’s arena.
ARTISTS: All applicants must complete an entry form,
and submit photos/slides or other samples of their work that will be
representative of the items shown/sold at the festival. Include the $50.00 application fee in order to
be considered. All applications must be
received by the May 31st, 2014 deadline.
Applicants will be judged on the quality and originality of the work
submitted. Special consideration will be
given to artists who indicate that they are willing to demonstrate their
technique/medium at their booth during the festival. All items sold at the festival must be hand
made by the artist. 100% of artist sales
belong to the artist. For more information on

MUSICIANS: All applicants must complete an entry form by
April 30, 2014. SandBlast Music
Director, Wendy McDowell, will have final decision on musical line up,
performance day/time, and performance length, after considering all
submissions. Several groups perform each day. Festival provides some equipment. DFA will pay a small amount to each
