Curious about Loop? Loop is King County’s name for biosolids produced through the wastewater treatment process. Learn all about this valuable soil amendment and how you can use it at home. Join our gardening workshop at noon to discover how to incorporate recycled materials in your garden.

Treatment plant tours
10 a.m. and noon
Take a tour of King County’s newest treatment plant, and learn how we transform waste into valuable resources. Treatment Plant tours are two hours in length and begin at 10a.m. and noon. Pre-registration is required, and participants must be at least 9 years old.

Wet walk in the woods
10 a.m. – noon
A fun, free outing for families with kids of all ages. Dress warm, wear your rubber boots and join us at Brightwater for an exploration of the woods in winter. There will be warm beverages and a story by the fire following the walk. Pre-register to reserve your spot to this free event.
