The goal of the firefighters benevolent fund is to make a postive impact on the community by diectly supporting individuals and families in need.
This year we have the opportunity to help 2 local families; the Bender family and the Menizes family.
Mark Bender sustained a complete spinal cord injury this year. The benevolent funds goal is to be able to assist them with medical bills and preparing the house for wheelchair access.
Karry Menizes was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. She has 3 young kids and works fulltime. Our goal for this family is to assist financially with her treatment and successful recovery.
