On Saturday and Sunday, July 20 & 21, you will find the
annual SandBlast Festival of the Arts at McCormick Park in Duvall, along the
shore of the historic and beautiful Snoqualmie River. This year’s “SandTennial”
pays homage to Duvall’s Centennial Celebration and features many endeavors into
the arts in addition to the professionally-directed, interactive sand sculpting. Presenting live, local music has always been
a key element of the SandBlast Festival.
This year’s Music Director, Mike Kirby, along with Assistant Music
Director, Jason Cunningham, have selected groups that will keep your toes tap’in
and your hands clap’in. Don’t miss the
Festival’s opening and closing ceremonies featuring well-known Native American
Flutist, Peter Ali.
