Cooperative Preschool is a unique
opportunity for both parent and child. 
Our mission at RPCP is to foster the development of a strong family
unit, by involving parents in the early education of their children, and in
their own education as parents, through our Parent Education program affiliated
with Lake Washington Institute of Technology (formerly Lake Washington
Technical College).

 For parents, it’s an opportunity to:

Participate
in your child’s learning experience.

Learn
about the developmental stages appropriate to your child’s age.

Brainstorm
solutions for current parenting issues with the teacher and other parents.

For your child, it’s an opportunity
to:

Choose
from a rich variety of daily activities including Art, Woodworking, Cooking,
Imaginative Play, Music and Movement, Outdoor Play, Science, Circle Time, and
Story Time.

·       
Participate
in Field Trips, VIP Nights, and an Overnight Camp Out.

·       
Experiment
with materials and equipment without adult ideas and standards imposed on them.

·       
Work
together, sharing responsibilities and experiences, as part of a group.

Class Days

4 to 5-year-olds (4's) meet Mon,
Tue, Wed

3 to 4-year-olds (3's) meet Thu and Friday



Preschool runs September through May. Holidays correspond with Lake Washington
School District Holidays. We hold classes on consecutive days because a child's first concept of
time is tomorrow.

Tuition/Fees

4’s:  $120.00 per month

3’s:  $90.00 per month

The Enrollment Fee is $135.00 per
family and is non-refundable.



Class
Size

Class size ranges between 16-18 children at the teacher's discretion. There are
8-9 adults and one teacher present on each 3's class day, making a 2:1
child-to-adult ratio. On each 4's class day, 5-6 adults and one teacher are
present, resulting in a 3:1 ratio.



Age of
Children

Your child must be 3 or 4 by August 31st. This cut-off date is also used by the
Lake Washington School District and is strictly enforced.
