“Thrill the World” Thriller Dance Workshops

IF YOU WANNA BE A ZOMBIE, YOU GOTTA LEARN TO DANCE LIKE ONE

For the past four years, every October, Zombies of all ages have gathered at Redmond Town Center, laid down in the streets “playing dead”, then slowly gotten up (to the beat of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” song), and began a world-wide Flash Mob dance simulcast with other “Thrill the World” locations such as – London, Sydney, Tokyo, Helsinki, New York, and Brazil.

The event this year is October 26 – at exactly 2pm.  You can either sit on the sidelines and watch the Zombies … or become one.

That means learning Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” Dance – classes begin September 21st at the Redmond Senior Center.  And yes, there is a fee to learn this Dance – with a portion of the proceeds going to help SecondStory Repertory, a 501(c)3 non-profit theater. Two-hour dance workshops (for ages 8 to 80) are $5.00. It takes at least two classes to learn how to dance like a Zombie.  If you wanna be a Zombie, it takes commitment!

Join Zombie Dance Instructor Teresa Osborn and the rest of the World dancing Michael Jackson's "Thriller" for world records and charity. Teresa’s Thriller Workshops are held at the Redmond Senior Center. Call them now at (425) 556-2314 to reserve your place.
