Willows Lodge Annual Iron Vintner Challenge: Preliminary Round Two

John Bigelow of JM Cellars and Chris Upchurch of DeLille Cellars will go head-to-head in a cooking competition at Willows Lodge to determine who will be crowned the 2011 IRON VINTNER. Each winemaker and their partner will be given a secret box of ingredients selected by Chef Bobby Moore of the Barking Frog, which to create an appetizer and an entrée in 60 minutes for a panel of celebrity judges. Each winner will be selected based on presentation, flavor and creativity. The Iron Vintner Challenge cooking competitions will occur on three consecutive Wednesdays in June from 5:30 – 7 p.m.  The challenge will conclude on Wednesday, June 29 at 7 p.m. Your $35 entrance fee includes a commemorative wine glass and 2 tasting tickets for wine tastings from the featured wineries.
