Sammamish Trail Usage July 4

Sammamish River Trail users should expect heavy congestion at Wilmot Gateway Park in Woodinville during the City’s July 4th Concert from noon to 5 p.m., according to the city of Woodinville.

During this time, cyclists will be asked to dismount and walk their bicycles through the Wilmot Gateway Park section of the Sammamish River Trail.  The City expects the park to be heavily populated during the event and this action will help reduce potential accidents.  Signs will be posted on the trail to alert users of the anticipated high volume of pedestrians using the park that day.
