Dollars & Sense: New Motto for Woodinville?

Quick, I dare you - describe Woodinville in one word.

City? Country? Urban? Rural? Agricultural? Musical? Wineries? Parks? Trees? Peaceful? Cozy? It's no doubt home for many of us. But friendly, diverse or vibrant like our summers? Or quiet, isolated or stagnant like the slough. 

Maybe it takes two words. Tourist trap or tourist mecca? Popular destination or overlooked corner? Down in the valley or up in the hills? How do we best describe our piece of heaven these days to others?

The adjacent photo shows our town motto as posted near the Dairy Queen when I first came here at age 10. But does "Country Living, City Style" still ring true?

Another writer in this space weeks ago noted . Turns out the overwhelming majority of us now live in "cities". And that means Woodinville, according to King County.
