The Staycation at Chateau St. Michelle on Sunday was fun, it was rainy, but eventually cleared later in the day. The exotic cars were cool to look at, Kevin chose the orange Bugatti. We brought a wonderful spread that Kevin prepared and hunkered down during the rain showers, enjoying our CSM wines.
There were more food trucks than last year, but the lines were very long by afternoon. It was great to see Chef Bobby in the Road Toad, the Barking Frogs' new food truck.
On Monday, we dropped by Redhook Brewery to check out their remodel. It looks great! There is a huge bar area now, and we walked right in and got a seat. It was busy, but we didn’t have to wait for a bar space. We ordered the nachos, which were lacking in flavor and I wouldn’t recommend them. The next time, we will go for one of their great looking burgers and sandwiches, with fries!!
We couldn’t tell what was done to the deck area, except that there was a very large wedding like tent covering, which covered you from the rain on all sides, but it was like dining in a tent. I thought they were going to add a “roof” to the deck area, so you could still feel like you were actually outside. I didn’t look too closely, but we will check the new deck out on the next visit, and see if they get rid of the wedding tent. Maybe they are not quite done with that part of the remodel? I'm not sure.

$30 in advance, $40 at the door. 100% of the money from the ticket sales will be donated to the Woodinville Firefighters Benevolent Fund. We're throwing a party to celebrate the reopening of the new Redhook Pub. The party starts at 7pm on June 4th. Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door (if we don't sell out beforehand!).
Ticket price includes two drink tickets good for beer or cocktails, an open buffet featuring new items from our menu, and tours/brewery open house - come see parts of the brewery not normally open to the public! So come check out the new pub AND feel good about doing it! Tickets can be purchased online or in the pub in advance. This is a 21+ event.
