Please Sign Our Petition to Save the Preschool Program at Cottage Lake Elementary

We are trying to save the preschool program at Cottage Lake Elementary and need your help!

As a very concerned parent and former teacher, I wrote a petition to support the tuition-based preschool program at Cottage Lake Elementary School. The (Northshore School District) school board is trying to get rid of this class, which works in conjunction with the special ed. preschool class to provide them with appropriate peer models on a regular basis.

The parents, students, and teachers of both classes love the program and its deletion will take us ten steps back toward a more restrictive educational environment. Please take a few seconds to read the petition and add your signature, then share it with your contacts. We are trying to build support from the community in order to get the NSD school board to reverse their decision. I signed and shared it on facebook. I had intentions of my daughter attending this program and was extremely disappointed to find out that NSD eliminated the program. It is the only program that offers a low cost solution for preschool to low income families. I was hoping to be able to use those services and now I'm left to wonder if we will be able to afford Pre-K,
