The newly installed art sculpture known as Bleu Pup, made possible by a donation from the late Malka Fricks, will be dedicated at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5 in Woodinville.

The newly installed art sculpture known as Bleu Pup will be dedicated at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, the city of Woodinville said in a news release Friday.

The sculpture is a donation from the late Malka Fricks, a former City Parks and Recreation Commissioner. The work, a 2-foot-tall bronze basset hount mother and pup, was designed and built by artist Shelley S. Curtiss.

The dedication will take place in front of the sculpture, at the corner of 133rd Avenue NE. The City has extended the sidewalk to make room for the sculpture and will provide lighting and landscaping after completing needed electrical work.
