Support Movember and Help Find a Cure for Prostate Cancer

In several countries around the world, thousands of men are growing a mustache this month to raise awareness about men’s health issues, in particular, prostate cancer. 

Once registered, the men start the month of Movember clean shaven and then wax, shape, and groom their way into becoming a walking, talking billboard for the often-ignored issue of men’s health. 

I had my own scare with this issue two years ago during my company aviation medical exam. My doctor discovered that I had an abnormally shaped prostate, which started a 14-month investigation into my prostate. 

In the end, after too many procedures and digital exams, the best doctors that I could find decided that I did not have cancer, just a funny shaped prostate. I feel very lucky and thankful.
