Canyon Park Junior High School's Science Olympiad Team Advances to National Competition

Canyon Park Junior High School's Science Olympiad team won the Washington State Science Olympiad competition and is going to nationals May 17-18 at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

Canyon Park Junior High School’s Science Olympiad Team Advancesto National Competition

Canyon Park Junior High School’s Science Olympiad team won the B (grades 7-9) division at the Washington State Science Olympiad competition and is advancing to the national competition to be held May 17-18 at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

The Canyon Park team competed against 19 other schools in 25 categories covering biology, chemistry, earth science, astronomy, physics, and technology. Canyon Park’s individual results include:

Northshore Junior High School’s team placed fourth and Kenmore Junior High School’s team placed 11th in the B division and Bothell High School’s team placed second and Inglemoor High School’s black team placed 14th and their gold team placed 19th in the C (grades 9-12) division.
