Mike Dale and Pop Keeney Staff Named "Host of the Year"

The Pacific Northwest Football Officials Association (PNFOA) has chosen Mike Dale and his Pop Keeney staff to receive the Host of Year award. The award is presented annually to a host site for its treatment of officials and game administration. Mike Dale will be honored at the PNFOA’s banquet Nov. 13 at Safeco Field in Seattle.

“Mike Dale and the entire Pop Keeney staff go above and beyond with their treatment of officials,” said PNFOA President Jeff Mattson. “They’re the best in the state, and probably all of high school sports around the country. Their organization, class and leadership should be the example others look to when running a facility.”

Congratulation, Mr. Dale. It's a long way from Canyon Park Junior High to Pop Keeney in years, though not in miles. You can be proud of your accomplishments. Ken Mortland-Retired Canyon Park Teacher
