A candlelight vigil will be held Friday for the Bothell couple killed last week when a snow-laden tree fell onto their vehicle near Stevens Pass, according to a family blog called "lovetheowens."
The vigil for the Owen family will be held at 6 p.m. in the Bothell High School parking lot, 9130 NE 180th St. (Note the change in venue – originially it was going to be held at Blyth Park). Everyone is invited to come and pray together for the family, the blog said.

We look forward to seeing many of you at the vigil tonight (Friday) in the west end of the Bothell High School parking lot, at 6pm. Please try to carpool if you plan on coming. We will be accepting cards, pictures, and money to help with the kids’ recovery – and we would also love it if you could make sure to sign each of their banners and books that we will be taking to them after the vigil. Thank you again for your faithfulness throughout this journey. God is at work here. We’ll see you tonight!

KIRO television reported that Tim and Cheryl Owen were heading to Chelan with family Dec. 21 when the tree fell. He was an insurance executive and she was a manager at Amazon. See the KIRO story here.
