Letter to the Editor: Woodinville Resident Calls for City Manager to Resign

Dave Henry blames the city manager for the disappearance of protest signs in the Wellington area and calls for his removal.

City Manager Mr. Leahy:

You are no longer welcome in our city or the Wellington community. Your presence here represents Violence, Intimidation, Police Power, Abuse of Power, Threats, Stress, and Unrest. Your unleashing your knee breaking violent thugs on our community, and the many seniors that have lived here over 30 years, represents the most despicable act by a government official that I have ever seen.

You unleash your violent shouting thugs, harass one of our senior community citizens, to confiscate neighborhood signs that advocate protect our neighborhood from high density development which you apparently advocate and apparently support.

Your presence here is a threat to us all. The Wellington community is an older well established R-1 community, with one house per acre and with many senior citizens, who only want to live in peace, enjoy their children and grandchildren. The Wellington community is involved in church activities, school activities and encouraging their children to become, law biding and active in many sports activities. The Wellington Community is not only made up of seniors citizens but younger families who want only to live in peace and also raise their children, without the threat of violence from you and YOUR local government.

I cannot believe you unleashed your violent code enforcers, to do battle with our seniors, confiscate our signs that oppose your policies and your agenda.

Mr. Leahy, you live in another county, another city, then you suck up your salary, from our community, then violently unleash your thugs on our community and attack us. Then you and one of your thugs calls up the citizens in the Wellington Community and then says, Oh by the way, your signs were not in violation, your signs were quite OK, your signs are not illegal, your signs were not any problem after all.

So you city manager, Mr. Leahy, charge into our peaceful community, with guns blazing, unleash your code enforcers with the intent of violence, shouting threats, with government repercussions of the Police Power at your disposal and on your side, and confiscate the Wellington neighborhood signs that advocate protect out neighborhood from the likes of you and your hired thugs.

What's next City Manger, Mr. Leahy, SWAT TEAMS, burn down our homes, arrest our seniors for just wanting to live in peace and free from you and your violent code enforcers. What's next Mr. Leahy, other neighborhood's, who might oppose you and your policies. Other seniors, who may not be able to defend themselves from you knee breaking thugs. What's next? Who's next?

Please resign. Please leave our peaceful Wellington Community and take your violent thugs with you, and while you are leaving please take the QUEEN of Conflict of Interest, council member Bauman with you. Also please take with you council member Rubestello, who has anger management problems, violently verbally attacking other council members who he opposes. Also when you leave please take with you council members Hageman and Aspen who in the last election used the disabled community as a political prop to gain votes.

I'm not yet sure what options are open to me, as a private citizen. However come Tuesday I will contact the AG's office to see if criminal charges can be brought forward against you and your code enforcer thugs. I will be contacting the Washington State Ethics Commission in Olympia to get their take and recommendation on what course of action they have available.

I'm sure the development community loves you, as well as the sewage dump promoters, the Woodinville Water District and KC.

As for the Wellington community, seniors, peaceful law biding citizens, you need to go.

As always and as usual, I'm available to discuss these and any other matters that negatively affect the peaceful Wellington Community.

Dave Henry
