Northshore bond and levie election

As a tax payer I do have a tough time with this. In the last 10 years the amount that we have paid in taxes to the school district has increased over 54%, and in the same time frame the school dist. has done away with several programs that benefits the students as well as started a pay to play for sports and music programs. We were lucky that our kids were able to get through the school years before some of these programs were eliminated.
The school district sent out a community newsletter making it look like your taxes will go down, NOT TRUE.
When looking at the Northshore website, where they had a link to what our taxes will do, there will be a 12.7% increase in how much we pay the school dist. in the 4 years that they provide the information for. That much of a increase is out of hand. The school dist. needs to learn to control spending and not hire more people in the admin. building. We have had a good relationship with the teachers at the schools our kids attended and hope they continue the good work they do.
We live in the north end of the district where the out of control growth is, and the one thing that the bond and levy does not address is the overcrowding and more students going to Skyview Junior High.
For these reasons I can not support the bond and levies on this special election ballot.
