Animal Cruelty, 13 Cats, 1 Dog Living in Travel Trailer — Woodinville Crime Report

Here is a list of some of the reported crimes in the City of Woodinville from June 24-July 1, 2013.

1.      Commercial Burglary– 16200 blk of Woodinville Redmond Rd. NE.

Unknown suspect(s) removed the lock on the gate to a storage shed and stole a generator, two pressure washers and a walk-behind cutter.  

2.      Animal Cruelty- 14200 blk of NE 200th St.

Officers investigated an animal cruelty report where 13 cats and one dog had been living in a travel trailer parked on the side of the road for over two months.  The investigation revealed that the animals were without food or water for over 48 hours and were in distress.  Animal control responded and took the animals to a veterinarian for evaluation and then to a shelter.  The owner is facing animal cruelty charges.

3.      Larceny - 18600 blk of Woodinville-Snohomish RD.

The victim reported their lock broken and their cell phone from stolen from a day locker while they were working out.

4.      Vandalism – 12500 blk of  NE 164th St.

The homeowner reported unknown suspect(s) painted over her sample colors on her house and door frame. 

5.      Assault, Aggravated – 17400 blk of 140th Ave NE.

Officers responded to a report of two men involved in a fight, one armed with a knife.  The suspect with the knife was punched by the victim knocking him to the ground where he sustained a head wound.  He was transported to the hospital for treatment and then booked into the King County Jail pending Felony Assault charges. 

6.      Disorderly Conduct - 14300 blk of NE 193rd PL.

The victim reported a known suspect kicked the garage door at the business resulting in a dent after a price disagreement with management.

7.      Larceny, Pickpocket– 17800 blk of Garden Way NE.

While shopping for groceries, an unknown suspect unzipped the victim’s purse and stole her wallet.

8.      DUI – 14500 blk of NE 145th St.

Officers were dispatched to a detained subject who had been involved in a minor accident in the parking lot.  Officers contacted the driver and arrested her for DUI.  The female suspect was booked at the Snohomish County Jail and her car impounded. 

9.      Driving While License Suspended – Various Locations

Officers on routine patrol made four arrests for Driving While License Suspended/Revoked at various locations in the city.  Three suspects were cited and released and one suspect was taken to the Snohomish Co Jail for an outstanding warrant.
