Child Riding Without Seat Belt, Drunk Men Steal Beer – Woodinville Crime Report

Here is a list of some of the reported crimes in the City of Woodinville from Sept. 9-16, 2013.

1.      ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, – 17100 blk of 133rd AVE NE.

The victim reported her sliding glass door screen had been pulled out of the frame/tracks in an attempt to enter her first floor secured residence. 

2.      LARCENY, –19500 blk of 144th AVE NE.

Unknown suspect(s) stole the tail light off victim's Dodge pickup.

3.      RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, -14700 NE 177 ST.

While a Woodinville Officer was investigating a suspiciously parked vehicle, a suspect came running out of a house with a bag of stolen jewelry, being chased by the homeowner. The suspect jumped into the parked vehicle and fled with the officer in pursuit.  During the pursuit the suspect attempted to ram the officer’s vehicle and then crashed his truck into a chain link fence and fled on foot across the highway. A K-9 track for the suspect along with the KCSO helicopter could not locate the suspect.  The suspect vehicle was impounded for a search warrant.  The Woodinville Detective is investigating.

4.      LARCENY, BIKE -14200 blk of NE 171st ST.

Victim reported unknown suspect(s) reached over the fence into his back patio and stole his white and grey Mongoose Teocali mountain bike that had been hanging from a hook.

The frame of the bike has the word "CRASH" on it. 

5.      LARCENY, -13900 blk of NE 175th ST.

The store clerk reported two unknown intoxicated males came into the store trying to buy beer but they were declined.  One suspect grabbed two cases of beer and walked out of the store without paying.  Surveillance video will be reviewed from the store.

6.      CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE VIOLATION- 19800 blk of 142ndAVE NE.

Officers on routine patrol stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation.  The driver was found to have a suspended/revoked license.  The passenger was found to be possession of a small amount of narcotics.  The narcotics were confiscated and both subjects were released pending charges.  A child was in the vehicle in violation of the seat belt law and the case forwarded to CPS.

7.      RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY,  -17300 blk of 146th PL NE.

Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s open garage and prowled two unlocked vehicles stealing a purple quilt, tote bag and shoes. 

8.      RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, - 15400 blk of NE 176th PL.

The leasing agent for the victim’s unoccupied house reported the garage door open and a generator and garage door remotes missing from inside.  The real estate key box was taken from the front door.

9.      DUI -13000 NE 175 ST.

Witnesses called police after an intoxicated driver pulled in to the convenience store parking lot and attempted to purchase alcohol but then passed out in his car. Officers contacted the suspect and arrested him for DUI.  He was later transported to the Snohomish County Jail after being evaluated by paramedics.
