Children Left in Hot Car Unattended – Woodinville Crime Report

Here is a list of some of the reported crimes in the City of Woodinville from July 8-15, 2013.

1.     LARCENY - 12800 NE 178 ST.

Victim reported unknown suspect(s) stole a catalytic converter off a Chevy Van that was parked in the rear of the business.

2.     DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED/SUSPENDED–  Various Locations.

Officers arrested four suspects for driving while license suspended/revoked.  Two suspects were transported to jail and two suspects was cited and released.

3.     FRAUD -13900 NE MILL PL.

Victim reported that a recently terminated employee was found to have falsified documents for discounts and taken a phone for personal benefits. 

4.     LARCENY - 12500 NE 164TH ST.

Victim reported last month unknown suspect(s) entered his locked Dodge Pickup and removed electronics, clothing, music, and backpacking equipment. 

5.     LARCENY - 16100 125 PL NE.

Victim reported unknown suspect(s) entered their locked vehicle that as parked in the driveway and removed the Panasonic stereo.   

6.     LARCENY, BIKE- 18200 142 AV NE.

Victim reported his locked Mongoose grey mountain bike was stolen from his apartment complex parking lot by unknown suspect(s).

7.     COMMERCIAL BURGLARY– 14100 NE WOODINVILLE-DUVALL RD

Victim reported unknown suspect(s) broke out a window and entered the business. Once inside the suspect(s) attempted to cut open the safe but they were unsuccessful.  The suspects rummaged through the drawers and cabinets and removed cash and hair irons that were on display.  Officers recovered a flashlight that had been used in the burglary.

8.     LARCENY -13000 NE 197 PL.

Victims reported their unlocked Ford Explorer was entered by unknown suspect(s) and a make up bag and contents were removed.  The suspect(s) may have been scared off leaving the driver’s door ajar.  

9.     BANK ROBBERY - 17500 132 AV NE.

Officers responded to a bank robbery where an unknown suspect had left the area on foot. Witnesses advised that the suspect had entered the bank disguised and demanded money, implying he had a weapon. The FBI was contacted and the case will be referred to major crimes. 10.  VANDALISM -18400 148th AVE NE.

Victim reported unknown suspect(s) damaged the paint on their Jeep Cherokee by pouring syrup and flour on it. 

11.  CHILD NEGLECT - 13900 NE 178

Officers responded to a call involving two young children left unattended in a vehicle on a hot afternoon while the mother was shopping.  The mother was contacted and a citation was issued.
