Updated: Cyclist Found on Trail in Woodinville Identified

The 69-year-old man found unresponsive on the trail in Woodinville has been identified as Stephen Anderson by the King County Medical Examiner's Office.

The 69-year-old man found unresponsive on the Sammamish River Trail in Woodinville Sunday has been identified.

Stephen Anderson of Kenmore died on the trail Sept. 16, according to the King County Medical Examiner's Office.

The cause of death is "pending toxicology," medical examiner officials said Monday afternoon.

So sorry for your loss Mike. Also, I had questions come up about whether this was the Stephen Anderson who worked for the city of Bothell and it is not, according to city officials. "We do have a Stephen Anderson who works for the City, but he is not the same person as the cyclist. Our condolences to the family of the cyclist."
