Details Emerge in Case of Missing Toddler
The mother of 2-year-old Sky Metalwala told police she was taking the boy to a hospital because he was sick.
Police revealed new details Tuesday in the , who was reported missing Sunday morning.
The boy's mother, Julia Biryukova, told police that she was taking her son to Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue because he was ill, and she said she left him in the car when she went to get help after running out of gas because he was asleep, said Bellevue Police spokeswoman Officer Carla Iafrate.
Bellevue police also said that after interviewing neighbors at the mother’s Redmond apartment, only one neighbor reported seeing Sky in the past two weeks.

Iafrate said that Biryukova has been offered multiple chances to take a polygraph test but hasn't.
