Disaster Preparedness a Focus of Woodinville Safety Fair Saturday

This year's Safety Fair will include demonstrations and exhibits for all ages on how to be prepared for a disaster, severe weather event or major emergency.

The annual Woodinville Safety Fair, presented by Woodinville Water District, the City of Woodinville and Woodinville Fire & Rescue, will be held Saturday, Nov. 17.

The event is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the fire station headquarters in Woodinville, 17718 Woodinville Snohomish Road Northeast, Woodinville, WA 98072.

This year’s Safety Fair will include demonstrations and exhibits for all ages to learn how to be prepared for a disaster, severe weather event or major emergency.

There will be fire extinguisher classes, fire engine tours, rescue demonstrations, safety information and much more. Costco Pharmacy will be on hand to provide flu shots.

Also included at the Safety Fair is a free pancake breakfast served from 10 a.m.-noon and hot dog lunch from 12-2 p.m. For additional information contact Woodinville Fire & Rescue at 425-483-2131.
