Driver Backs Over Man's Foot in Hit and Run: Woodinville Crime Report

Here is a list of some of the reported crimes in Woodinville from April 22 to April 29.

1. Burglary, Residential, 13300 block of N.E. 171st St.

The victim returned home to find his front door pried open and his laptop and PlayStation game unit stolen.

2. Disturbance, 17100 block of 131st Ave. N.E.

Police were called to a report of someone yelling behind the complex near the trail. An intoxicated male was found sleeping on the park bench. He was identified, found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest, and booked into jail.

3. Burglary, Commercial, 15300 block Woodinville Redmond Road

Unknown suspect(s) stole the aluminum from the victim business’ recycling container and entered an enclosed area to access the shed.

4. Suspicious Circumstances, 19300 block of 144th Ave. N.E.

Police located an abandoned vehicle that appeared to have been in an accident and found a license plate left behind. The next day the owner of the vehicle missing the license plate attempted to report his vehicle stolen. After some questioning, he changed his story and admitted to being in the accident.

5. Burglary, Residential, 20300 block of 156th Ave. N.E.

Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s open garage and stole power tools and lawn equipment.

7. Auto Theft, 17600 block of Garden Way N.E.

The victim’s 2002 “lifted” Ford F-350 was stolen while parked in the cinema parking lot during the day.

8. Trespass/Warrant, 14000 block of N.E. Woodinville Duvall Road

Store security called police after a male suspect attempted to steal liquor from the store. Police contacted the suspect, who was identified and found to have two warrants for his arrest. He was booked into King County Jail and trespassed from the store property.

9. Hit and Run, N.E. 174th / 140th Ave. N.E.

The victim called 911 after her car was hit and the other driver tried to get away.  The victim and her family tried to block the car but the male driver backed up, running over the victim’s father’s foot. A license plate was given to police, who contacted the suspect at his home. He was booked into jail for hit and run and negligent driving.
