A fire destroyed a motor home Tuesday morning near Leota Junior High.

A motor home caught fire Tuesday morning near Leota Junior High in the Woodinville area.

Firefighters from Snohomish Fire District 7 and Woodinville Fire & Rescue responded and extinguished the fire in both the motor home and the shelter structure it was parked under on the 42100 block of 85th Avenue SE, according to David Weed, community services officer for the department.

The motor home, which had been winterized for the season, was a total loss, Weed said. The Snohomish County fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
