Man Injures Deputies After Running in Traffic Yelling 'Kill Me' – Woodinville Crime Report

Here is a list of some of the reported crimes in the City of Woodinville from April 15-22.

1.  Larceny- 15500 blk of Woodinville Redmond Rd.

The victim’s cell phone and cash were stolen from her purse which had been placed in a storage cubby while she practiced gymnastics.

2.  Driving While License Suspended- various locations

Three separate traffic stops were made on drivers with suspended licenses.  One suspect fled on foot but was identified by the officer later in the investigation.  The other two were cited and released. 

3.  Larceny- 19500 blk 136th Ave NE

Unknown suspect(s) broke the window of the vehicle and stole the victim’s two backpacks which had been left inside. 

4Larceny, Shoplift- 14000 blk of NE Woodinville Duvall Rd.

An unknown male suspect concealed a bottle of “Fireball” Alcohol and left the store without paying. He left the area in silver Toyota Prius. 

5.  Embezzlement – 19800 blk of 136th Ave NE.

A known suspect employee allegedly embezzled several thousand dollars from a bank account used by Woodinville High School. 

6.  Assault Aggravated- 17600 blk of Garden Way NE

Police were called to the report of a disturbance where a man was running through traffic saying “kill me” and acting confused.  Police identified the man who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. During a pat-down for weapons, the suspect pushed the deputy and attempted to run away.  He was detained after a scuffle in which one deputy received injuries to his hand and the other was elbowed in the face. Medics arrived to treat the suspect and he was later transferred to the hospital and then to jail. Detectives will follow up with assault charges. 

7.  Auto Theft-13400 blk of 154th Pl. NE

The victim’s Honda Accord was stolen sometime overnight.  When Officers arrived, they found another Honda in the area which had been a reported stolen from Puyallup.  Another car in the area had its window smashed and a purse with cash and credit cards was stolen.

8.  Larceny, Auto Accessories- 13300 blk of NE 171st.

The victim reported his vehicle tabs stolen from his license plate while parked in the apartment parking lot.

9.  Fraud-13200 blk of NE 175th St.

Bank employees called police to report a female suspect had attempted to cash a stolen check but left quickly leaving her Identification behind.  The suspect got into a black Acura which was then involved in a traffic collision. The suspect had left the scene when police arrived however the driver identified her to police. The vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant. The Woodinville Detective is following up this investigation.
