Minor Incident with an Automobile and a Pedestrian in Downtown Woodinville Monday Afternoon

Only minor injuries were sustained and traffic was only tied up for a brief period, according to fire department spokesman.

A pedestrian was injured in an incident with a car on Monday afternoon in downtown Woodinville, but had only minor injuries, according to David Weed, spokesman for Woodinville Fire & Rescue.

“We transferred the person to Evergreen Hospital but only for precautionary reasons, they really didn’t have any major injuries,” Weed said.

The incident occurred at the intersection of NE 175th Street and 140th Avenue NE at about 2 p.m. First responders from Station #31 arrived within minutes of the call and quickly took the unidentified pedestrian into the aid car, away from the rain, Weed said.
