National Night Out is Aug. 7, Any Woodinville Events Scheduled?

Communities across the country will celebrate National Night Out, or America’s Night Out Against Crime on Aug. 7 (except Texas which celebrates NNO on Oct. 2). The national event was introduced in 1984 by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW), a nonprofit crime prevention organization that works with thousands of crime watch groups and law enforcement agencies.

This year is the 29th year of National Night Out across the United States. National Night Out is a crime prevention and preparedness event, which will involve over 14,000 communities from all 50 states. Locally, there are approximately 70 cities and counties in Washington State who participate in the event, including several cities on the Eastside.
