Waste Management Truck Takes Out Telephone Lines Causing Closure on Woodinville Duvall

A Waste Management truck took down telephone lines on the 19000 block of Woodinville Duvall Road Wednesday morning.

A motorist posted on the Woodinville Patch Facebook page that the road is wide open as of 8:30 a.m. today.

Puget Sound Energy officials told Patch power lines were not affected by the Waste Management truck, but that telephone lines were down as a result.

David Weed of the Woodinville Fire Department said King County Sheriff's officers were handling the road closure, although he said he didn't have an estimate of when the road might re-open.

A Waste Management truck has taken down some telephone lines on the 19000 block of Woodinville Duvall Road, Woodinville fire officials said this morning.

Woodinville Duvall Road is closed at this time in that area. Puget Sound Energy is responding to evaluate the situation, re-hang the lines, and re-open the road. The call came in at 7:02 a.m. today.
