Bellevue Police say that the man in police custody knew the victim, though the relationship to the victim was not immediately available, said Officer Seth Tyler, a spokesman for the department.

According to police, the shooting was reported around 10 a.m. in an apartment at the Belle Arts Apartments, 111 108th Ave. NE in downtown Bellevue. Police arrived and found three adults at the apartment, including a man appearing to be in 40s who was unconscious with a single gunshot wound, according to police.
