Update 11:30 p.m. Feb. 27: The missing male has been located safe and sound, according to a post on the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office Facebook page. Aid is on scene, but he (the man) should be returning home soon, the post said.
Original post--
Rescue crews are reportedly searching for a 52-year-old Woodinville-area man with dementia. He was reported missing from a group home.
Residents have emailed Patch to say they've seen a Sheriff's helicopter patrolling. Woodinville Police Chief Sydney Jackson told Patch this morning that crews have been searching for the man since about 8:45 a.m.
One resident emailed and said, "the man reportedly left a group home just over the King/Snohomish County line this morning wearing only a T-shirt and unfortunately not even wearing pants." Patch is working to confirm this and will update as soon as more information becomes available.
If anyone sees him, please call 911.
The Everett Herald tweeted this at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday:
