Fire Commissioners Meet on Racial Discrimination Charges Friday
The board will meet Friday to release an independent report regarding EEOC complaints filed by Deputy Fire Chief Mario Acosta and former fire Chief David Daniels.
The Woodinville Fire & Rescue Board of Commissioners scheduled a special meeting for Friday, Dec. 30 at 5 p.m. at district headquarters to discuss a report prepared by an independent law firm concerning complaints filed against the district by Deputy Fire Chief Mario Acosta and former Fire Chief I. David Daniels.
A included a stipulation that he drop his claim of racism filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on Sept. 19. However the complaint was already in the process of being investigated.
