Suspects Repeatedly Enter Vacant Building, Empty Fire Extinguishers, Write on Chalkboard — Woodinville Crime Report

Here is a list of some of the reported crimes in the City of Woodinville from May 13 -20.

1.  Commercial Burglary - 14000 blk of NE Woodinville-Duvall RD.
Officers responded to a business alarm and found unknown suspect(s) had fled the area leaving behind a pry bar that they had used to pry the rear door.  Further investigation found wires to the alarm system had been cut. 

2. Trespass - 13200 blk of NE 175th St.
Unknown suspect(s) have been entering the vacant building writing on the chalkboard and emptying the fire extinguishers over the past couple of months. 

3. Commercial Burglary- 14200 blk of NE 175th St.
Officers on routine patrol observed a broken window on the business.  Dispatch advised officers they were just receiving an alarm call at the business that had occurred several minutes prior.  Unknown suspect(s) had used a rock to shatter the window and enter the business. Once inside the suspect(s) removed several electronics from the display case and fled the area.  K-9 tracked to the rear of the store where it appeared a car had been parked.

Fraud - 16900 blk of Woodinville-Duvall Rd. NE.
The victim business discovered fraudulent charges on the company credit card while performing a reconciliation of the account. 

5.  Larceny - 20300 blk of 136th Ave NE.
Victim reported unknown suspect(s) had smashed out the front passenger window on her car and stole her purse and a GPS from inside.  A small steel ball was found inside, most likely used to break out the window. 

6. Larceny– 17100 blk of 133rd Ave NE.
Victim reported unknown suspect(s) had removed cash from his wallet that he had left in the glove box of his vehicle while he was at work. The vehicle was believed to be locked when the offense occurred but no sign of forced entry was found. 

7. Driving while License Suspended- 14200 blk of Woodinville Duvall Rd.
Officers on routine patrol stopped a vehicle for speeding and found both the driver and passenger to have a suspended license and warrants for their arrest.  Both were booked into jail. 

8.  DUI- NE 175th St. / 131st Ave NE
A Woodinville Officer stopped a vehicle for running the red light. He was believed to be under the influence of alcohol and processed for DUI.  The driver’s vehicle was impounded and his teenage son released to a responsible adult.  The driver was booked into jail for investigation of DUI and reckless endangerment.
