Update: Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested, Kirkland Police Say

Kirkland Police say one man has been arrested in connection with a bank robbery Friday afternoon.

Kirkland Police responded to a bank robbery at the Key Bank located on the 14100 Block of Juanita Drive NE at 5 p.m. Friday, according to a police news release.

A white male suspect entered the bank wearing a long blond wig and passed the teller a note demanding money. No weapon was used and the suspect left the bank with cash. A citizen passing by the bank noticed the suspect running to a vehicle, get in and drive away. The citizen called 911 and a Kirkland police officer stopped the vehicle that was occupied by two males and a female. One of the male subjects was positively identified as the one who had robbed the bank and arrested. The male and female occupants of the vehicle were also taken into custody. The Kirkland Police Department Detective Division will be handling the follow up.

Kirkland Police first reported having three people in custody in connection with the robbery on Twitter.

Ah, ok. That is the Inglewood/Finn Hill area. I was confused when they reported Juanita area, lol. Thanks for the clarification.

This crook must have come here from a different state about two years ago. His criminal record included a contact with law enforcement nearly once a month since his arrival. He was under court supervision for a recent felony conviction prior to the bank holdup charge. Can't blame the cops, they seem to have picked this guy up on a regular basis, but the courts just set him free.
