Vehicle Strikes Power Pole, 100 Woodinville Area Customers Without Power

A vehicle struck a power pole on 174th Ave NE Wednesday morning, leaving 100 customers without power, according to Puget Sound Energy officials.

About 100 customers are without power today after a vehicle struck a power pole on 174th Ave NE near Cottage Lake, according to Puget Sound Energy officials.

The crash reportedly took place at about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday near 16525 174th Ave NE. The damage to the pole and electrical equipment was extensive, a PSE official told Patch. A crew is at the scene and must replace the pole and a "lot of equipment" that was attached to the pole. 

They said power to the area should be restored by about 3 p.m. today.
