Windshield Slapping and Perfume Packing – Woodinville Crime Report

Here is a list of some of the reported crimes in the City of Woodinville from March 4 - March 11.

1.  Criminal Warrant, Felony - NE 193 ST / 131 AV NE.

Officers contacted a suspicious subject walking in an area of recent criminal activity and suspected he was involved in a vehicle prowl.  The suspect was booked into King County Jail on two outstanding warrants for Escape and Assault.

2.  Vandalism- 18800 block of Woodinville-Snohomish Rd NE.

Unknown suspect(s) sprayed silver paint or ink to tag “glass” on the bus shelter.

3.  Larceny, $250 – 15400 blk of 125 PL NE.

Victim reported unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked vehicles that were parked in the driveway and removed miscellaneous paperwork from glove boxes.

4. Vandalism- 19500 blk of 144 AV NE.

While sitting in his vehicle in an empty parking lot, the victim was approached by an unknown male who told him he was trespassing. The male slapped the victim’s windshield causing it to crack.

5. Residential Burglary - 18100 block of 142 AV NE.

After receiving a call from her bank about fraudulent activity on her credit card, the victim reported her purse had been stolen from just inside the open front door of her home without her knowledge.

6. Larceny, Shoplift -$250 - 14000 block of NE Woodinville Duvall Rd.

Store security attempted to contact a shoplifting suspect after he concealed several bottles of perfume in his pants and left the store without paying. When confronted, he dropped the perfume and ran from the area.  

8. Larceny, NSC +$250 – 19500 blk of 144 AV NE.

Victim business reported an unknown suspect removed scrap metal from two large unsecured dumpsters in the parking lot and left behind a broken flat screen TV.  Video surveillance showing the theft is under review by the Woodinville detective. 

9.  Theft, Other Vehicle – 18800 blk of 139 AV NE.

Unknown suspect(s) cut the lock off of the trailer hitch, stealing the trailer.  A witness had contacted Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office to report a trailer parked in front of his house and that suspects had returned to take it. He provided suspect information to the police and the trailer was recovered.

10. Larceny -$250 - 13900 blk of NE 178 PL.

Unknown suspect(s) stole the victim’s wallet from her shopping cart and used the cards for multiple purchases at a nearby store. The detective is reviewing video surveillance of the incident.

11. Vandalism – 14200 blk of NE 200 ST.

The victim reported a rock thrown through the front window of the business.

12. Stolen License Plates - 19700 block of 144 AV NE.

Unknown suspect(s) removed the rear license plate and tab from the victim’s car that was parked at the business parking lot overnight.

13.   Driving While License Suspended- Various Locations

Woodinville Officers made seven arrests during this reporting period for Driving While License Suspended. Two of those drivers had warrants for their arrest.
