Woodinville Crime Blotter: March 19-27

Here is a list of reported crimes in the City of Woodinville.

1. Controlled Substances for Disposal- 17300 blk of 133rd Ave NE 

Citizen’s turned in over 35 pounds of unwanted prescription drugs and over the counter meds for the City’s Secure Medicine Return Program. 

 2. Larceny, 14200 blk of NE 203rd St.

A white male driving a small white pickup was seen stealing scrap metal from the Victim’s scrap bin. 

 3. Identity Theft- 13300 blk of NE 171st St.

The victim reported two unauthorized charges on her debit card for I-tunes purchases even though her debit card was in her possession.

4Fraud- 15400 blk of 135th PL NE

Unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s personal information to set up a Comcast account in the city of SeaTac. 

5. Larceny, 18600 blk of Woodinville Snohomish Rd.

The victim reported his vehicle window broken and his lunch box stolen from inside his car while at the gym.

 6. Larceny, 14200 blk of NE Woodinville Duvall Rd. 

A white male suspect was seen removing two hard drives from the packaging and leaving the store without paying. He was not located.

 7. Trespass- 13300 blk of NE 175th St.

Two friends got into an argument while at the bar and a fight ensued.  One had his arm dislocated and was treated by aid and transported to Evergreen.  The remaining male subject was trespassed from the establishment after the first declined to press charges.

8. Marijuana Misdemeanor, NE 200th St. / Woodinville Snohomish Rd.

A Woodinville Police Officer saw a suspect he knew to have a suspended license driving on the roadway. He turned around to stop him and the truck nearly drove off into the ditch. The suspect had switched seats with the passenger by the time he could stop the vehicle. The driver was arrested and was found to have marijuana in his pocket. The vehicle was impounded and the driver was fingerprinted and released pending DWLS and marijuana charges.

9. Burglary, Res, 18700 blk of 162nd Ave NE

Unknown suspect(s) broke the glass window next to the door, entered the house and stole jewelry and a suitcase.

10.  Larceny, 13900 blk of NE 178th Pl

Security saw a suspect in the store that had previously shoplifted. They called 911 when he started pocketing electronic accessories.  Police arrived and waited outside but the suspect received a phone call and returned all of the items to the shelf prior to leaving. The suspect was arrested for the prior theft, fingerprinted and released.  It was found that his friends had alerted him to police presence outside the store.

 11. Fraud, 15100 blk of 132nd Ave NE

The victim received a letter from the IRS claiming they were holding her tax return and asking for information. The victim has yet to file her taxes with the IRS.

 12. Larceny, 14000 blk of NE 181st PL

Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s vehicle and stole a backpack and fishing gear.  The victim believes she locked the car but there were no signs of forced entry.

13. Larceny, 18600 blk of Woodinville Snohomish Rd.

The victim’s vehicle window was shattered and his laptop stolen while at the gym.
